"Grandforsure" A&K Suffolks 0FB05 was named Reserve Supreme Champion Ram at the 2021 Nugget All-American Show & Sale in Reno Nevada. In a story that will live on probably for the rest of our lives he was also the high selling individual of the sale. We would like to thank everyone who showed interest in the ram. We retained this stud (at a steep price I may add) for his sire was over 5 years old. As fate would have it, we lost his sire (AL Grand Finale Luxford 16-1490) four days after the sale. His first set of lambs are very impressive especially the ewes. We will line-breed him back on our Luxford ewes. Look for his offspring in 2023.

 Beings we have used only Luxford Rams for over the past 25 years, we figured it was time to add an outcross bloodline. We were not able to attend Sedalia due to a wedding, so we asked Rich Jacobsen to be our eyes and ears to find a ram that possesses Bone, Thickness, Testicle size & Mass. In our opinion Rich did a great job and we are thankful. We later heard the story behind this ram, in 2021 he was purchased as a ram lamb for $300 from George Bros by Person Livestock Company. He was used for a year and the Person's decided to concentrate on their Hampshire program, so they brought him back to Sedalia which   we then purchased him for $3000. Now that's a great Return-On-Investment, hence the name R-O-I. We will use him on 50% of our Luxford bred ewes. Look for his lambs in 2023
