In 1982 we began with our first seed stock from Sterling Farms which consisted of
ewes and rams going back to great Studs as Treasure Valley 59, Luxford 504 & BB Burroughs.
We have since added the genetics of DTR, High Plains, Windswept, Luxford to name a few.

BELOW YOU WILL SEE SOME OF THE PAST STUDS WE HAVE USED

TO DEVELOP OUR FLOCK. IT IS OUR HOPE THESE IMAGES WILL

ENABLE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT TYPE OF SHEEP WE RAISE.

"AL Grand Finale"Luxford 16-1490 RR/NN
Sire: Luxford 14-1448
Dam: Luxford 15-1465A

"Grand Finale" was purchased privately from Ansel in July of 2017 the last ram Ansel sold from the place in Wilsal. He had some issues adjusting to the hot weather his first year but bred all his ewes in 2018. Measuring  42 1/2 Height by 45 Long. His lamb crop resembles what we bought him for, fantastic length, pretty heads, strong top & breed character. He has lived up to what Ron Dreher said about him, producing some very nice females. He went on to produce "Willow" our Reserve Junior Champion Ewe Lamb at the 2019 Nugget All-American, "Emma" our Reserve Champion Ewe at the 2021 Nugget All-American and finished with siring "Grandforsure" Supreme Champion and High selling individual at the 2021 Nugget All-American. As fate would have it we lost this great Ram four days after "Grandforsure" was named Supreme Champion Ram.

"Substantial" is one of our best rams out of "Bozeman".  This ram best resembles his father for he brings many of those same attributes his father brought, thickness, depth, bone and a great big top. The picture above was taken on 5/19/19 slick shorn at 2yrs old.  This ram passes on his traits when you look at his lamb crop these past years.  We sold this ram to Alvarez Family Suffolks 6/20
“BOZEMAN” LUXFORD 13-1440
“Bozeman” Luxford 1440 we believe was one if not the best Luxford ram we have ever purchased. He was a game changer, who produced our very first Reserve Champion Ewe at Reno in 2017. He brought everything to the table, length, thickness, bone, depth & a great front end.  We were able to retain quite a few ewes from him and they have produced very well for us. He is a ram we will miss.
"IronStone" A&K Suffolks 4HN7 RR/NN
Unfortunately we lost this ram to early but were able to retain a couple of ewes This ram was deep sided, long, pretty headed & very correct.  Our top "High Noon" son, this ram went back on some great bloodlines and a tremendous ewe family from Windswept Lines.

“Tumble Weed”

A&K Suffolks 2BW30

A Grandson of Red Ded Redemption crossed with “Heaven Sent” genetics “Tumble Weed” produced very long and correct sheep. Unfortunately we lost him this year to a hip injury.

"High Noon" A&K Suffolks 2RD6 RR/NN

High Noon contributed greatly to adding volume in depth and muscle to our program. We have retained many ewes out of this stud.

“Red Ded Redemption”

Luxford 09-1376

“Red” we purchased privately from Ansel Luxford and he performed as Ansel predicted. He would improve the ewe flock in which he did. He made a great impact on our ewes with adding volume muscle, breed character, correctness & femininity.

“Heaven Sake”

A&K Suffolks 2603

“Heaven Sake” was one of the best Ram’s out of “Heaven Sent” Luxford 04-1260. This rams damn goes back to the High Plains ram we purchased in Reno in 2001 where he was Reserve Champion. He put length & muscle into our program.

“Heaven Sent”

Luxford 04-1260

This stud purchased at the Reno All-American where he was Reserve Champion in 2005

made a huge impact on our flock and his impact is still felt in our flock today.

We still have several ewes out of this powerful stud.

DTR 96-1096

We purchased 1096 in 1997 at the Reno All-American where he earned Reserve Champion honors. This stud injected a lot of depth and volume into our program.
